So I’m finally taking Enbrel.

I was working from home yesterday and heard the doorbell ring around noon and knew that my medicine had been dropped off.  The package itself is huge because the medication needs to be refrigerated at all times…even during delivery.  After 10 minutes I finally figured out how to open the package and unpacked everything (thanks for the awesome coldpacks!).

I was prepared for the auto-injectors…only to find pre-filled syringes!  Ouch!

So I “manned up” and did it.  It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be and so far I feel no ill effects.  In fact I’m excited to start treatment and see an improvement.  There are a lot of potentially bad side effects including Cancer, but I’m still eager to see how it works for me.
