Another Editing Exercise! Multiple Angle Edits

So I’ve been editing a bit lately, trying to get better. This video is a collection of clips from the Patriots and Jets first game this year.  My main goal here was to highlight multiple angle editing.  So each big play that has multiple angles has been compiled from individual clips. [vimeo http://www.vimeo.com/54805066 w=600&h=338] No, it’s not synced to the music, that’s my NEXT exercise.  Figured I’d share my work for posterity.  When I win an Emmy or Oscar I’ll come back to this post and reminisce.  HA! Patriots Jets 1 from Eric Foster on Vimeo.

Which Version do you like?

If you cue them both up just right you can play them simultaneously…it’s pretty neat to alternate volumes. Shows the true differences in the songs. The Original… [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDAaevTq51I] Or the Travis Barker Version… [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnzXTGn3i58] I’m not generally a fan of hip-hop but I really liked the Travis Barker version more. It almost sounds like a different song…pretty cool…and creative. Kudos Travis.
