Here are some of the new shots I’ve been getting.
I’m not only refining my HDR techniques, but I’m honing my LightRoom and Photoshop skills AND learning about architectural photography.
I took 6-9 RAW photos of each frame, using a different Fstop, and merged them using the HDR functionality in Photoshop. Then saved that file as a TIFF, which was like 300mb! As a TIFF I could get CameraRAW in Photoshop to open it and edit it.
I generally push the highlights 90% down, the shadows 90% up and work down to really get all the dark spots properly exposed. Working in RAW format really gives complete flexibility in post. These photos are my experiments using that awesome RAW flexibility.
PLEASE feel free to critique and leave some feedback!
The only way I’ll get better is through criticism!
Cheers!
I miss it there. Thank you so much for the visual trip down memory lane!
I have no critique. I think the images are amazing. What type of HDR software do you use? I am shopping around… Love, love, the look of these!
Thanks for all the kind comments.

Adobe Lightroom also has some really great tools and I’m really enjoying the learning process.
