I love that Sci-Fi movies invariably show us what is to come… If you’ve seen Minority Report then this scene will be familiar, if you’ve not seen the movie you should be wildly impressed. It’s not easy for a man, this man, to look around him and be satisfied with where he is and what he’s got. I just want to take a minute and acknowledge that life isn’t bad right now. I’ve been in far worse shape than this…in fact, I’m pretty excited about what’s to come for me. It’s interesting how I’ve mentioned that I’m such a wiser man now that I was when I was younger and that I know myself pretty well…and while it might be true I’ve still got a lot to learn about myself, people and the world …

I can’t seem to get below 216lbs. It’s incredibly frustrating because I’m putting in the work and I’m eating the way I should be and I’m still 216lbs or heavier.  UGH!  I did so well getting down to this weight but I’m not continuing to lose and I’m getting discouraged.  I’m feeling more fit, so that’s good, but I still HAVE TO get under 200lbs in order to reach my goal. I’m not giving up…but I don’t know how much harder I can work at this before seeing results. CMON! MiH

It’s supposed to be 70 degrees outside today, which would make it the warmest since the winter started. Spring has always been one of my favorite seasons because that means summer is around the bend. A family member who lives in another state was served with a search warrant, was raided and is presumably going to be charged with a number of serious crimes.
