I just saw a photo that really affected me and I can’t “un-see” it. It was a photo of a very young, deceased child, buried all but the face. It’s eyes are wide open and a hand is coming down to brush dirt off this child’s face. It looked much like my child and I’m quite bothered. It takes me right back to the Caribbean and the tragedies I saw there. Seeing a child like that stays with a person forever, and becomes part of them. Obviously tragedy like this happens everyday. Finding the Right Game : Arma 2 Edition
I’m always looking for games that can be played cooperatively because I play with a couple of grade school friends. My friend Rich is a bit particular on what he plays. He’s big into sims and could stare at blue sky in Flight Simulator X for hours…no joke. Jim and I tend to prefer MMO’s which, by definition, are cooperative on a grand scale. Working on a new recipe tonight. I’m making a stuffed flank steak. So far I’ve seasoned the meat with shallots, cilantro, ginger, lemongrass, garlic, Chilis, and lime juice. Also added some Gournay cow’s milk cheese, NOMS! Next, I’m adding either Swiss chard or spinach and then some panko or other filler…rice maybe? Not sure. He had a nice little LL Bean bag with markers in it. When I asked him about them he touched his lips and shook his head which I interpreted as,”Get away from me.”. So I did. He was a happy looking sort, quite pleased to be dressed in orange drapery. He wandered around the parking lot a bit then more monks started appearing…then they all hopped into a Camry and were off.Neat-o
