While this clip ISN’T from an upcoming movie (that I know of), it’s proof that you can produce a believable Wonder Woman character on the big screen.

There have been quite a few attempts at creating a decent Wonder Woman, whether for big screen or small, that have failed miserably.  Why have so many professionals stumbled when it comes to our beloved Diana Prince?  She’s one of the oldest and most revered characters in comic-dom, but no one can seem to get it right.

Bleeding cool uncovered a casting call for a character that sounds like she could only be the Princess of Themyscira.

They’re looking for a woman, “somewhere between twenty five and thirty three – or at least leave the impression of a woman in that age range, she needs to be physically strong. They’re specific about that.  It was noted that the discussion in some agencies who have been submitting actors for this role is that they’re sending up candidates for the role of Wonder Woman.”

It’ll be interesting to see if any of this information pans out.  It would certainly be cool.
