A wonderful chapter in my life is over.
I was a dedicated World of Warcraft player for over 5 years. Most of that time was spent in one Guild…The Arcane Council.

The best group of people you’d ever want to play with…I can’t say enough about them. Their company helped me through the highs and the lows…losing my business, getting a great job, being single, eventually getting married, and all these people had been there with me. They shared all the important events in THEIR lives…I’ve seen their kids grow. Heck, some of them ARE kids that HAVE grown up in front of our eyes.
Well, something happened and all that came to an end.
I can’t tell you what a kick in the gut it was to quit the guild. Now many of you are saying,”it’s only a game dude…what’s up with that?” It was more than a game to me. I spent anywhere from 20 to 60 hours a week playing with these people…talking to them regularly, more than my Mom for pete’s sake.
So, tonight and for the foreseeable future I’ll be lamenting the loss of my friends.
Long Live the Arcane Council!
